How to Submit an Outing
A Day’s Outing offers fun, quality outings and day trip ideas to people of all ages. We would love to add your special event or destination to A Day's Outing.

One: Is there a fee to submit an outing?
Yes. A Day’s Outing charges $9.95 per outing for the lifetime of that outing.
Once your outing has been submitted, the fee is easily payable online.
Two: What types of outing do we accept?
A Day’s Outing accepts outings in these categories: Fairs, Events, & Festivals, Family & Children, Parks & Gardens, Theatre & Stage, History & Heritage, Museum & Art, Farms, Food & Wine, Unique Sports & Hobbies, Antiques & Auctions, Nature & Outdoor and Wheelchair Accessible.
Three: How do I know if I have one outing or more?
If you have an outing that is a destination, such as a historic home for example, this is considered one outing. If you also have an event on a specific weekend at the same historic home, this would be submitted as a separate outing.
Destination Example: Monticello, Home of Thomas Jefferson, open Year Round
Event Example: Archeological Dig for Kids at Monticello, Home of Thomas Jefferson, on Saturday, October 17th.
Four: How long will my outing be posted on A Day’s Outing?
Your outing will be on A Day's Outing for the lifetime of the event or destination.
Five: How far in advance should I submit a date specific outing?
If an outing is an event with a specific date or date range, such as October 21st – 23rd, 2009, the outing should be submitted by October 1st -- or 21 days before the start date of the outing. This way A Day's Outing can share your outing with our users several weeks before your event.
Six: What information should I submit?
Below you'll find the information that A Day's Outing needs for each outing. Take a look at this outing as an example of how we display information.
Please cut and paste the below fields into a plain text email and complete your answers for each field in the email. Once you have finalized the information you want visitors to read about your outing, submit the information to info@adaysouting.com. Please, do not send file attachments.

Seven: When do I pay the $9.95 submission fee?
Once you have submitting the outing information to: info@adaysouting.com, A Day's Outing will review your submission and let you know if we have any questions. We will then send you an invoice which you can easily pay through our secure credit card process.
